Parras at Cedar Ridge for the second time this season

Handsworth return to the JS White & co community stadium a month on from the league cup meeting that ended in defeat for the Miners.

Garforth have picked up two wins from six games since that evening. The Amber Parras have managed one more victory, but the goals for and against this season (a difference of +46 in favour of Handsworth) suggest the visitors come here as big favourites.

The last time Garforth beat the Parras was in April 2014 when Josh Greenhalgh and Sam Akeroyd score the decisive goals against the then named "Worksop Parramore". The goals can be seen here.

Although Saturdays game against Harrogate Railway ended in disappointment, Garforth played some sublime football at times and were the width of the crossbar from three points in the second half.
Another great start is a must, but as we've learned in recent weeks, any complacency gets punished in this league.

Up the Miners!

Entry to the game is -
£5 adults
£2.50 concessions
under 16s free with a paying adult (otherwise £1)

As ever, the bar and snack bar will be open serving hot and cold refreshments.
