A run of seven straight defeats was finally ended after Saturday's terrific win at Albion, giving our young team a much-needed confidence boost. Can the Miners go on to bring back the points from this week's two visits to Lincolnshire?

Something of a journey into the unknown for The Miners tomorrow as we make our first ever visit to Birch Park. This is the first ever meeting between the two sides, Bottesford having being promoted as Division 1 play-off winners last season. The Poachers have made an excellent start to life in the Premier Division, currently fifth in the table with 20 points from ten games. John Corbett's side are currently unbeaten in September, and remain in the FA Vase after Saturday's 4-1 win over East Midlands League side Dunkirk.
