Garforth treated their supporters to some sublime attacking as they ran out 5-2 winners over Rossington Main at the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
Three new additions took their places in the starting line up. Nash Connolly and Jordan Emery made a huge impact and were joined by goalkeeper Harry Flatters.
Harry Viggars put Garforth ahead with his third goal of the season, whipping the ball home after Barker had a shot blocked.
Emery, who would be a constant threat, was then denied by a close range save after Nash Connolly forced a defender into an error.
Towns early hard work was almost undone when Manasse Kianga shot across goal when he should have hit the target.
Danny Deakin didn't miss on thirty minutes when a chance came his way, curling an unstoppable left footed free kick into the top corner to level the score.
Town didn't give the visitors opportunity to get on the front foot, as Tabish Hussain tucked away an assist by Emery just three minutes later, setting up a rampant ten minute spell for the Miners.
Connolly powered a header home from a long throw by Emery, then kieran Clayton exchanged passes with Rinor Ejupi in the box, ending with a curling shot that wasn't far over. Emery was sent through on goal by an exquisite long ball from Ejupi, but although his dinked effort had the keeper desperately diving, it curled wide.
The front man finally got the goal he deserved moments before half time, when Connolly stole the ball in midfield and played him in. Emery holding off a defender before dispatching the ball beyond Lewis Hill in the Rossington goal.
Rossington came out fired up for the second half and were adamant that they'd scored a legitimate goal when Kianga raced onto a through ball to fire home. The referee disallowed it for taking a nick off his (the refs) shoulder on the way.
Kinaga did pull one back minutes later, capping a mazy run with a fine finish.
What could have been a nervy spell for Garforth never materialised, as apart from a wayward shot clipping the top of the Miners bar, Rossington looked the less likely to score next.
Barker and Lee Turner had big chances to put the game out of reach before Turner turned provider for Matt Antcliff on 88 minutes, wrapping up a fine win and hopefully a springboard to push on for the rest of the season.
