Once again the County Cup 2nd round draw has pitted us against a side from a higher division, but hopefully this cross-Leeds derby can bring out the best in Rob Hunter's team after some below-par performances recently.

Our neighbours Guiseley are currently in 20th place in the National League after an improvement in form saw them escape the bottom four. The good results continued in the FA Cup yesterday as they earned a creditable draw with League Two side Accrington Stanley to earn a replay.

This is the first competitive match in nine years between the two sides, the last being an FA Cup 2nd round clash back in September 2008. The two teams have since met in a pre-season friendly game on 20th July 2010 on Cedar Ridge. The Lions won out by the odd goal in seven despite a Chris Fisher goal and a brace from Chibuzor Chilaka.
