Changes to the changes......

Alas, after suggesting off-the-field events look not to have determined the make-up of the Premier Division next season (here), something comes along to complicate the picture.....

Relegated Evo-Stik South Division side Ilkeston FC were wound up in the High Court on Monday. To replace them, fellow relegated club Frickley Athletic have been switched from their original placing in the North Division to the South Division. To fill the gap, Goole AFC - originally relegated to the NCEL - have been handed a reprieve and will live to fight another day in Evo-Stik League football.

To keep the number of teams in the NCEL Premier Division at 22, third from bottom Barton Town Old Boys have also been given a reprieve from relegation, meaning The Miners will pay a visit to the Easy Buy Stadium next season after all.

The revised line-up is shown below, where you can enjoy seeing Garforth listed in eighth position ("Didn't we hear that joke last year?"). Again, all of this is subject to ratification at the NCEL AGM in Scarborough a week on Saturday.
