An all-Leeds derby in this League Cup third round tie (kick-off 7:45pm).

As in the FA Vase in October, Town go up against another Division 1 promotion-chaser as we look to make it four wins in four at the Southerns Stadium.

Our neighbours The Ammers will look to bounce back after a six-match unbeaten run was ended by strugglers Nostell at the weekend. Joint-top scorers in the NCEL, Phil Harding and Neil Sibson's side will look to claim a Premier Division scalp and local bragging rights, and Rob Hunter's team will need to continue their improved displays of late to prevent just that.

We have to go back to our Division 1 days for our last competitive visit here, almost thirteen years ago. Andy Rowan and Vernol Blair were on target in a 2-1 win for The Miners on 22nd January 2005. The two sides met here in August 2013 for a pre-season friendly in which then new manager Graham Nicholas saw his fledgling side suffer an 8-3 defeat. The most recent meeting came on Cedar Ridge on 20th October 2015 when goals from Lund, Mangham, Simpson and Martin-Wyatt earned us a 4-3 success in a County Cup 2nd round tie.

Manager Rob Hunter is expected to reshuffle his team with Stephen Weatherill, Josh Dacre, Matt Robertshaw, Matthew Savage, Ross Shelton and Lee Turner expected to be given starts. Jack McMurrough is also expected to feature with only Ryan Donoghue unavailable.

Join us if you can, hope to see you there. Up the Miners!
